Remote Deposit – New Regulations

If you’ve had an account with us for a while, chances are you have taken advantage of our remote deposit options. Well, we want to make you aware of a national banking regulation change that could impact your mobile deposits made through the Credit Union’s mobile app.
With this regulatory change, your mobile deposit should include all of the following:

Your Signature
Your Account Number

For reference, here is an example of how the check should look before mobile deposit:



Unfortunately, if you deposit a check through the mobile app without this endorsement, the check will be returned and you’ll receive notification that your “deposit was rejected due to restrictive endorsement.”  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
